O.K. so I play with flowers all day, every day. And one would think that I could'nt possibly want flowers for a gift. Well that's where your wrong.
This past May of 2010 I was in the New England area visiting my family when it hit me. The moment that stands still for us all. Your wedding day perhaps. The day your first love tells you they love you. The fire works that explode when you look into there eyes and just know it's the one.
I am A local florist, located in Gainesville Ga. I work hard every single day at making that moment stand out for so many people. In hopes that it works for them, as it has for so many.
While visiting my family, I adore walking through the wild gardens of flowers my mother has planted over the years. Butterflies and humming birds visit her gardens more often then anyone. I have always imagined having gardens just like hers, so I design them every day for a living, for people of all walks.
As I sit there, on the mornings dewy grass, listening to all the breakfast dishes clanging from the distance inside the house, I try to remember when the last time was that anyone gave me flowers. The morning chitter chatter of all the winged creatures flying above, I cant help but remember that moment in time that I felt so special to anyone. Felling somewhat blue, I got up to walk away, deeper into the garden when suddenly I felt an air blow past my neck. Turning to look behind me, I saw no one! Suddenly, I heard buzzing, quite loud in fact. Again I looked to come face to face, eye to eye with a beautiful humming bird. Startled as I was, it just stood there in mid air staring at me. My God, I thought. He is awfully brave to be so close to me and not fly away. A moment! A very different moment. One in which really stood out for me as I have never seen such a thing. With a very content heart filled with "special" I proceeded to complete my most unusual morning with the knowledge that it did not have to be fire works to stand out, It can be any one thing, for me it was that humming bird. My mothers favorite creature.
